Description
The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) with its headquarters in Louisville KY is the premier professional growth organization for fastpitch softball coaches from all competitive levels of play. The NFCA has grown from 40 members in 1983, to thousand of members. Major programs run by the NFCA include awards programs (All-America, Coaching Staff of the Year, Easton Victory Club, Scholar-Athlete and Top 10 Academic teams), an annual National Convention, recruiting camps, Leadoff Classic tournaments and coaches polls for NCAA Division I, Division II, Division III and high school. The National Fastpitch Coaches College (NFCC) gives coaches in-depth training in all aspects of the game.
The NFCA’s publications include Fastpitch Delivery, which has become one of the nation’s best softball publications, and Top Recruit, a magazine focusing on teenagers, for members to distribute during their annual camps. A weekly newsletter, Fastpitch Connected, is another way the organization keeps its members informed.
