Description
The Christian Educational Consortium welcomes Christians of a plethora of denominations and beliefs. As a Consortium, it is our first priority to glorify God in all that we do, believing that man’s chief end is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever.
The Christian Educational Consortium provides a blended education for older home schooled students, grades 6-12, giving them an opportunity to attend traditional academic classes in a Christian setting. Established for families who value Christian character and collegiate style academics, CEC helps to prepare young adults to glorify God through their lives.
CEC enhances the home-schooled student's curriculum with core and elective studies, activities, and sports. Home schoolers who partner with CEC participate in a supportive community that enables their youth to enroll in rigorous core classes that prepare students for college and earn dual credits for some college-level courses. CEC students also enjoy the social life of outings, prom, school yearbook and other fun with like-minded friends. Since our beginning in 2001, CEC has grown from 40 to 400+ students and our program has expanded to include five foreign languages, drama, Biblical studies, and business-related electives. More than $7 million in scholarships have been granted to our graduates. Classes meet once a week for 1½–2 hours on Tuesday or Wednesday, August through May, and are taught from a Christian worldview.
