Ben has been specializing in headshots for actors and professionals since 2013. In that time he became Louisville’s first associate photographer and only mentor in world-renowned headshot photographer Peter Hurley’s training program, The Headshot Crew.
More than creating amazing headshots that get people noticed, Ben also puts a major focus on the experience in his studio. His goal is to make everyone comfortable and relaxed. Before they know it, they are having fun which many people never thought would be possible in front of a camera.
Ben has now taken that same focus on an amazing experience and opened his studio to personal portraits as well as headshot photography. Ben and the amazing makeup artists that he works with create a safe, fun environment and guide everyone through the entire process.
Ben’s style of portrait photography ranges from contemporary/ “magazine” styled, to classic with a painterly feel, to artistic boudoir. His goal is to create images that those he photographs will cherish. Images that people will be excited to display, in their homes either framed beautifully or privately in a keepsake folio box. These images become part of peoples legacy. They become heirlooms.
