Description
The Pointe is a designated, Historically Certified, adaptive reuse, mixed development of a former leather lace and cotton sash factory, encompassing over 90,000 square feet of usable space that dates back to the 19th century.
Characterized by 18-foot-high skylights, historic, reclaimed hardwood flooring, exposed timber posts, and steel trusses, these features highlight the unearthed industrial archeology of the building.
The development team of Tasman Properties Group methodically deconstructed and rebuilt the Pointe to historical standards. Broken windows were painstakingly restored, wooden floors were salvaged, and all new construction was designed to keep and showcase the historical integrity of the property.
Located in the heart of what was once Louisville's thriving meat packing district, Butchertown is now a flourishing historic district with close proximity to Downtown Louisville, the Highlands, and NULU.
