NEA Our Town Open Meeting
Hosted by Louisville Metro Government and Fund for the Arts
What is Our Town? Our Town is the National Endowment for the Arts’ creative placemaking grants program. Through project-based funding, Our Town grants support projects that integrate arts, culture, and design activities into efforts that strengthen communities by advancing local economic, physical, and/or social outcomes. Successful Our Town projects ultimately lay the groundwork for systemic changes that sustain the integration of arts, culture, and design into local strategies for strengthening communities.
Who should attend? Nonprofits and Artists
What is the goal and format of the meeting? The meeting will be an open forum discussion of grant application ideas. Participants will have opportunities to share ideas, connect with artists and nonprofits, and make recommendations to Metro regarding the Our Town grant.
Our Town projects require a partnership between a local government entity and nonprofit organization; each local government is limited to two applications. Click Here to view FAQs for more information about the grant opportunity and how to prepare for the June 24 meeting.
Please RSVP by emailing grants@fundforthearts.org.
